        Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the first batch of national-level first-class undergraduate courses accreditation results. Among them, the "Inorganic Chemistry" course of HIE has been recognized as a national-level offline first-class undergraduate course. The course is led by Associate Professor Fang Zhengjun, and elaborately created by Professor Yi Bing, Professor Chen Jianfang, Professor Li Gucai and Lecturer Yi Niannian. This is a major breakthrough that HIE has made in the construction of first-class undergraduate courses.

        Courses are the core element of talent training. Over the years, HIE has, centering on the construction of "Golden Course" along with the "Double Ten Thousand Plan", vigorously improved the software and hardware conditions for curriculum construction, carefully organized seminars on the construction of first-class undergraduate courses, and focused on promoting the cultivation, construction and application of five types of "Golden Course". The School of Materials and Chemical Engineering pays attention to organize the teaching team of the course group to actively explore, take multiple measures, integrate teaching resources, promote and deepen teaching reform, which have provided a strong guarantee for the construction of the "golden course".

        In the future, HIE will give full play to the exemplary and leading role of national first-class undergraduate courses, adhere to the fundamental task of cultivating people, keep up with the development of teaching at home and abroad, and promote curriculum reform and innovation based on curriculum construction.
