On November 25th, the 2023 Xiangtan "CPR + AED" training workshop was held by Yuetang District Red Cross and Hunan Institute of Engineering in the second lecture hall of our school. Mo Bo, president of Xiangtan Red Cross Volunteers Association, and Peng Hanhui, vice president, were invited to give lectures. The training consisted of two sessions, attended by more than 400 students from our school.

Different from the traditional training methods, this training combined theory with practice. After the speaker explained and demonstrated, the students used the mannequin to simulate and practice. On-site instructors guide first-aid postures and techniques, and help students correct their mistakes in practice. Students study carefully, ask questions actively and practice actively with full enthusiasm and serious attitude.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation training is not only for health education, but also for students' all-round development. Carrying out cardiopulmonary resuscitation training can not only enhance college students' first aid skills, so that they can take correct first aid measures in time in the face of emergencies, but also improve their health literacy and cultivate their awareness of caring for life and others.
