講座摘要：Adiabatic quantum computation requires keeping a system in a particular eigenstate. However, unwanted transitions can occur due to the interaction of the system with a noisy environment. The adiabatic evolution of the system will then be ruined. To reduce the effect of the environment, quantum control methods can be used. This allows one to speed up the adiabatic process. Here we report an effective control scheme to allow for a speedup of the adiabatic process by using a sequence of pulses on the system. Using the hierarchical functional derivative (HFD) approach, we calculate the fidelity evolution, which is a measure of the adiabaticity in an open system. By carefully choosing the pulse intensity and duration, an accelerated adiabatic path can be obtained for both a weak-coupling and a strong non-Markovian environment.
主講人簡(jiǎn)介：王兆明，中國(guó)海洋大學(xué)物理系教授，博士生導(dǎo)師，1996年7月獲山東師范大學(xué)物理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位，2005年7月獲廣州大學(xué)凝聚態(tài)物理學(xué)碩士學(xué)位，2009年7月獲北京理工大學(xué)凝聚態(tài)物理學(xué)博士學(xué)位，其中2007年10月至2009年3月美國(guó)伊利諾伊大學(xué)物理系聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)博士。2009年起在中國(guó)海洋大學(xué)物理系工作（講師、副教授、教授），2017年2月至2018年2月美國(guó)斯蒂文斯理工學(xué)院高級(jí)訪問(wèn)學(xué)者。目前的研究方向包括基于自旋基態(tài)的量子通信、開放系統(tǒng)的動(dòng)力學(xué)演化以及絕熱加速調(diào)控等。
王兆明教授已在SCI雜志上發(fā)表論文30余篇，被引用300余次，其中以第一作者在Phys. Rev. A發(fā)表論文 10 篇。曾獲山東省高等學(xué)校優(yōu)秀科研成果獎(jiǎng)。主持包括國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金，山東省自然科學(xué)基金等科研項(xiàng)目4項(xiàng)。
